Project Manager - Geospatial Services

Aero-Graphics is seeking a dynamic, ambitious geospatial professional to join our project management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing airborne data acquisition, ground surveys, lidar, imagery, planimetric and topographic mapping, as well as GIS projects. This includes design, budgeting, contracting, and maintaining excellent client and subcontractor relationships.

Location: This position is based at Aero-Graphics headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, with some remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Survey, Geography, GIS, or related field.
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and map reading skills.
• Experience with Google Earth, QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex geospatial projects including airborne data collection, ground surveys, lidar, and mapping.
• Communicate technical information effectively to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with operational leaders and external subcontractors to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Lead project kickoffs and represent the company in client meetings as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with repeat clients.
• Monitor project health from initiation to completion to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Maintain project tracking and status updates in the ERP system, coordinating resource planning monthly.
• Manage project invoicing and monitor aging invoices.
• Ensure continuous communication among stakeholders to prevent or resolve project issues.
• Coordinate with project management staff to uphold quality and client satisfaction standards.
